WELCOME TO LIVERMORE'S NEWEST COUNTRY BAR
THE HEART BEHIND THE BAR..
Stampede was built on deep Livermore roots and a whole lot of family pride.
Our story starts right here in the Tri-Valley, where generations of our family have lived, worked, and helped shape the community we love. Our grandfather Groth opened Fireproof Garage just two blocks from where Stampede now stands, which was an operation that grew into Groth Bros Chevrolet and served Livermore for 78 years. Over in Pleasanton, Grandpa Giger helped define the region’s agricultural history as a part-owner of a dairy that once stretched across most of the town.
Our connection to the land runs just as deep. From the hills above Lake Del Valle, our family ranch reflects the values we were raised with: hard work, hospitality, and a love for the land we are blessed with. We’ve long supported local traditions like the Livermore Rodeo, not just as fans, but as sponsors who believe in keeping the spirit of the West alive.
Stampede is our way of bringing all that history, heart, and hometown pride together.
We set out to create more than a bar, we built a gathering place. A spot where friends meet, families feel welcome, and strangers become part of the crew. With good food, cold drinks, and live music that gets boots moving, every night at Stampede is a celebration of community and country spirit.
As a family-owned and operated bar, we pour our roots into everything we do, from the food we serve to the hands-on work that brings this dream to life. We’re proud to call Livermore home, and even prouder to welcome you into ours.
At Stampede, you’re not just here for the night. You’re part of our story.
